What is a wiki page and why is it helpful instructionally?
A wiki is a Web site that allows collaborative editing of its content and structure by its users.
A wiki is helpful instructionally because it provides a safe environment for children to interact with the teacher and each other above and beyond the limitations of the classroom.
A wiki is also helpful because it allows students to take lessons learned within the classroom and apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate subjects faced throughout each unit and connect it to the real world.
